After months of hiatus, we’re very happy to re-start our label activities with the brillant debut EP of Candélabre. Based in Toulouse, the trio was created just a few months ago but already presents a dense and tense record. Influenced by references like Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Ride, Dead Can Dance but also by modern artists such as The Soft Moon or Chelsea Wolfe, Candélabre’s music is a nice mix of electric pressure, languor and spectral explosions. The unique voice of Cindy Sanchez plays a huge role in the band sound personality, gripping your heart like a witch siren with heady melodies, swimming in the middle of waves of reverberated guitars, drum machines, bass & synths.
With these five tracks the trio signs a strong debut record and her live performances announce an happy and undoubtedly gloomy future.
